Revenue Sources
Revenue Sources
Innovative Approaches in Health Science Journal (IAHSJ) operates under a transparent and ethical publishing framework to support its editorial and publishing activities.
Funding Model
IAHSJ adopts a hybrid funding model to sustain journal operations and ensure full open access to all published content. The journal’s revenue sources include:
-
Article Processing Charges (APCs) paid by authors after manuscript acceptance;
-
Institutional support from the publisher or parent institution;
-
Editorial and operational support grants, where applicable.
Under the open access publishing model, readers are not charged any subscription or access fees to read, download, or share published articles.
The APCs are used solely to cover essential publication costs, including manuscript handling, peer-review management, editing, production, online hosting, and long-term digital archiving.
All editorial decisions are made independently of financial considerations. The payment of APCs does not influence the peer-review process, editorial evaluation, or publication decisions. Manuscripts are assessed strictly based on scientific quality, originality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
